CLISSOLD LEISURE CENTRE
For a period of over four and a half years,
Richard Blackwell was project architect on a complex and testing
project for London Borough of Hackney.
With a construction budget of £17.5m,
heightened ambitions fuelled by a 90% Sports
Council Lottery grant, and a
tight programme, the project tested the resolve
of all concerned.
For the benefit of the project, it was critical
that the project architect maintained a professional and convivial
working relationship with the client, contractor and consultant teams.
